I have been using this little program for years and regularly recommend it to other users. It is especially useful for remote access programs like PCAnywhere. It is very small and provides everything you need to know about your IP address. Create a shortcut to it and you're set get your address immediately and accurately.

I need a program that will tell me the computer name and IP address. I've set it up on my public drive (P:) and renamed it whoami.exe. Now all I have to do is call the staff that I am working with and tell them to click on start/run and type in p:whoami Works EXCELLENT. It will tell me their computer name and IP address. I tell them to close it and NO memory is hogged up with it. EXACTLY what I was looking for.
