Nice program
This is a good program for keeping your browser and temporary files clean. I have used this over a year now and have really liked the program. It is not a registry cleaner, for that I recommend CCleaner which is an excellent free program which does a lot more. This is good for everyday cleaning of your internet tracks. Try it out for youself.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do!
Beware of those "all-in-one" cleaners. This utility works like a charm and is highly configurable too!

The best i've used
I've use this app. for almost 2 years. Love its shell where you can just right click on a file/folder and secure delete it in the context menu. I'm too on dial-up a and never saw any difference whenever a page opens after I cleared out my cache. Maybe the previous users who gave low marks do not know how to configure IE Privacy Keeper. You can keeping or delete the cookies, values, or urls by checking and unckecking the appropriate boxes.

A+ for a must
I've tried quite a few "cleaners", and in my opinion IE Privacy Keeper is the best. Don't tell anyone, but I would have bought it, if it hadn't been - moreover - free, true freeware. It's easy and complete. Now for those who believe it slows down the system, may they just acknowledge it is also longer to remember an erased password than to retrieve it from a file, quickly accessible but accessible by all. Seriously, IE Privacy Keeper cleans good and cleans fast and cleans when you say so: a good way to combine overall system speed with both privacy requirements and system's fitness. An excellent software, an everyday surfing companion.

Slows down your experience of the net
I read the reviews you are reading now before downloading and installing this program. One of them said that it made the Internet slower. I assumed that they were referring to the fact that the pages would load slower since the entire previous temporary Internet files were wiped from the users previous visit. Turns out he was correct. Even though I am on dial up, there is something that is going on which makes a dramatic difference. It would be better explained as a funnel effect. After I uninstalled the program, everything did return to normal. Its too bad because otherwise it looked liked a well though out interface that would have been easy to use.

Cheap and easy
But in a good way. I have window washer and like it, but I downloaded this too. I use IE privacy keeper more often since I like its interface better. It doesn't wipe slack space or page swap but it does get .dat files and gives good privacy. If you are on a budget, this is really a good program. I haven't had any problems with conflicts or speed, but I have good broadband. Get Eraser from Heidi software for free too, and you will have a tool that will take care of swap and slack. You can't go wrong and you won't go broke!

Works but....
Works well but messes up a lot of internet related things-cache does not work well after installing , high speed users may not see this but it shows up on a dialup connection - the internet just "Feels" slower after installing this program.....Pages you have been to dont cache for some reason and I have had this issue on 2 different operating systems (XP and ME)

Excellent - no doubt about it
I can't believe it's freeware. Works flawlessly, has a lot of options to customize and have it do only the things you want it to do. I love it and consider it a must-have. Another option for people on-the-go, is to download the "take along" version from the developers site. Use the take-along when you use a computer that is not your own and want to erase your tracks - for example at an internet cafe. The developer writes: "The TakeAlong version is a standalone executable that does not require installation or the presence of any auxiliary files. It will not write anything to the registry on the machine where it is executed. You can take it along on a diskette, CD or a USB Drive."

Just what i was looking for
I needed a program that could be used in a limited account in XP. All of the other programs would not work and if they did they were really limited. I especially liked how you can set the same settings for all of the users. The button in the IE tools menu was a great touch also. Great interface and easy to setup.
