Lesser offender of the bunch...
Now if you only use ICQ (and maybe a little AIM) then perhaps this is the right choice for you. But I warn that there are (annoying) ads. One on the main window, and another on the bottom of message windows too. Xtraz are stupid. They seem specially designed to allow for sneaky advertising. Just the feeling I get when I was looking at them. "Send a card!" right? Okay, how much spam you gunna send them too? You know what I'm saying? Hard to trust sometimes. Maybe I'm just being edgy about this, though. Either way, Xtraz are not required. I'd turn them off if they'd let you. Lots of options on how you want messages to get handled. Not great, but better than the previous versions and if you need official, this is the way to go (vs. Yahoo, MSN or AIM).

Useless if you have trillian...........
Well, you can only use icq as a way to set up an account, then trillian will take over........ Personally, icq does not do video or voice chat, it is pretty useless.. Yahoo or msn at least will have voice/video capability.. Not this icq!
