Great right-click functionality and also deals handily with the lzh format for all of our drawing files from our Japanese parent company.

ICEOWS operates as a context menu item i.e. as a shell extension. Encountering problems with an archive can crash Explorer and lead to various problems. ICEOWS works very well normally, but needs to be able to recognize problems and disengage itself gracefully without causing major upheaval to the system.

Had a try with ICEOWS zip and unzip and cross tested with Winzip program. It just works fine. For those who just need an alternate to Winzip, then this suits that need perfectly. Its a small sized zip/unzip program having necessary features. Recommended one.

I downloaded this program 20 minutes ago and installed it to extract a .rar file. I right clicked the file, selected from a wealth of options, made a folder on the desktop in 2 clicks, and done! It extracted the entire file in about 3 seconds. I am quite happy with this software, and recommend it's use for hard to extract files. Small, leaves a negligible footprint on your RAM and is easy to use at the click of a mouse. Highly Recommended! Pastor J.

Iceows is a great product. Its free, does the job fast and well. It has no interface. Go to the file, click on the right mouse key and find it under "Iceows"

I installed this program on XP Home to open an ACE file which didn't open (although the problem may have been the ACE file itself). Then this program wouldn't completely uninstall & left a dll program I couldn't delete. I then began getting an error message saying "Cannot initialize ressource dll" (their misspelling of "ressource") when I tried to open up other files. When I looked this error message up on Google, it appears that the problem is probably associated with this program. Since there are other free programs available to unzip files, I wouldn't recommend this one.
