Just what I wanted to get all those icons off my desktop. I remember the old days (dos) when we used menu based applications to run our programs. This is pretty much the same thing. Just drag your shortcuts over the bar and drop. I have mine placed in the upper right corner of the screen. when I want to run a program, I just slide my mouse pointer up there and over the program name and then clink. I tried about all of these type of programs and even purchased some shareware versions. I like this one the best. Does what it is supposed to and is easy to setup and use. Get it and give it try. A great free program.

Very good but every time i switch the pc on Hidden Menu either looses some or all of the files or folders. So, in the end I've uninstalled it.......pity, because it was just what i wanted

I've been using Hidden Menu since their debut. I've tried out many other similar products but always chose to keep HM. It is a simple and effective solution that fits my need perfectly. Even the older versions are better than other similar products. Thanks, HM, for making my computer life easier.

I keep applications in the pop-up in upper left and working files in the upper right pop-up. Easy to update (drag a file into the window), unobtrusive and can be organized to suit oneself.

I've been using Hidden Menu for several years now. I haven't found a similar application that works nearly as well. Simple to install, (mine is set for left margin pop-up) drag your apps to the bar, and there they are! Haven't seen an update for some time, but I don't see the need.

I have been using this applet for years and cannot imagine one day having to do without it (unless something similar comes build into Windows). The author doesn't seem to do any updates but as far as I'm concerned none are needed. A must have.

Hate a cluttered up quickstart on the taskbar? Don't like to navigate through your startmenu? Similar tools for the tray also don't add to a real comfortable way of starting programs? I think Hidden Menu is for you. I used it for years now and still love the way it let's me easily access any program. Don't be afraid by the "stylish black interface" (screenshot) - it looks horribly but can be changed with a few clicks. Done that you will love to just (e.g.) touch the left upper corner to access your drives and (e.g.) the left side to access you most used programs. It hardly ever interferes with your use of any program since it seldom happens that you "do something" in any corner - does it? I can only recommend it! :)

After trying a number of menu/launcher programs, Hidden Menu provides the fastest, least-intrusive menu launcher yet. Some of the others, even the commercial/shareware ones, never seemed to be 100% compatible in that they would sometimes lose their Z-order or they would simply fail. Hidden Menu hasn t failed me yet. Works like a charm on my Windows XP Pro system.
