Usefull utility
This utility has many useful features. It takes advantage of SMART technology. However it can be a bit hard to understand such terms used as T.E.C. This means termination date for the hard drive. Fortunately you can use the HDD health tab which gives you the overall health of your hard drive. You will need to run the utility for over a month to get a prediction of how long your drive will last. Temperature is given in Celcius, so you will have to convert it to Fahrenheit manually. Overall this is a good utility if you want to predict when your hard drive will die. You should get plenty of information to predict this long before your hard drive actually dies.

Good smart program
If you do not have SMART turned on in the BIOS, try checking the settings with that SMART program. But I have HDD Health installed on my system and it chirps sometime.

Could use some better documentation
Anyone not familiar with S.M.A.R.T values will likely be confused and sent Googling but the program really is great. It has as many features are $30 equivalents for no cost. I haven't had it crash or cause problems on any Windows OS yet.

Needs better support files
I liked the layout, it looked like there was alot of useful information being gathered, I read the help files, which lacked details to make good use of the program. There is no way of interpreting what the numbers mean - so I still don't know what condition my hard drive is in - or it's life span. Beep warnings inform that a number has changed on the drive, but there is no way of telling if this change is good or bad ?(for example) People that know about hard drives will probably find it useful.
