No wow
I tried this for a bit and wasn't overly impressed. Maybe it's just me but it reminds me of an older IE. I did get a few freeze ups but I would be lying if that didn't happen in Firefox or IE7 either. I still like Opera over this, even Maxthon. While trying to find the words to describe my experience using this, it's seems like just another browser, nothing stood out that WOWed me. It needs some work and I don't feel this would be a browser of my choice in the long future. Some of the features are different but not enough to keep me hooked. I would rather install IEpro. GB is not horrible or anything and still worth a try. Has potential but again, dropping any of the current giants for this? I don't see it happening. GB will have to do a lot more for that to happen.

I use it as a secondary browser but has potential as a primary browser. Try it.

Pretty good, but better alternatives
I tried GB and was impressed at first. Two of its strengths are its interface and small download size. However, after using it for a few days, I noticed a serious problem - GB tended to freeze. If you are looking for a stable browser, I think Avant and Maxthon are better alternatives at this time.

I had problems with bugs and bad documentation
I have been using Slimbrowser for a while, but decided to try Greenbrowser after reading the reviews. I had problems with bugs in the interface - in the options menu, clicking on either the Tabs option or the Mouse option caused an exception (program abend). So, I was unable to set the options as I wanted them. Also, the documentation is terrible (single web page with sketchy translation from the Chinese). Finally, when trying to sign up for the author's forum to report bugs, the images of the numbers one has to type for validation did not show (even after enabling cookies). On Slimbrowser the page showed fine. Over all I'd give this one a C+ after all the problems and bad documentation. I give Maxthon and Avant a B+ and Slimbrowser an A-.

Nice to see one of them open it back up
From the Snapfiles reviewers comment ... GreenBrowser reminds us a little of a cross between myIE and AvantBrowser. ... Well - thats because it is. MyIE was always an open source browser, taken closed source by someone other than the original developer - and made big as MyIE2/Maxthon - and all the other so similiar browsers - all based on the same original source code that has always been open source.

Good buuutttt..........
I have used Green Browser for years. Liked it so well I bought a copy...which really has been a great deal as I have gotten all upgrades for free. I know that it can also be had for free but I have always felt the that we all need to eat, at least every once in awhile. I'm not very big on Firefox/opera, I know that IE has security problems but most IE shells if you do a bit of work can address that problem. I recently changed to AM Browser (Crazy Browsers) of which I used to use Until I found GB. My big beef with GB at the moment is the popup blocker. Some sites I visit popup completely different web sites which GB has had problems with. I can add them to a list but it's not caught until the page loads which sometimes is a bummer. Also it seems that with every new release the browser keeps getting larger not that it's all that large (817KB), AM Browser comes in at 673KB, stops popups cold and IE's problems can be addresses.

Best, most powerful tabbed browser
I've tried them all and this one has it all. Mouse gestures, ad killer with regex patterns, popup blocker, zoom a page in/out and a huge amount more. There is also a "lite" version called myIE. I found most of the other tabbed browsers slower and less rich. Been using it for a long time and everyone I've shown it to has switched.

First of all, i am not that crazy about ie ba ...
First of all, I am not that crazy about IE based third party browser, if they are hijacked, it makes no difference... But after I tried this, I changed my whole prospective on it except hijacking reasons. Here is why. 1. Main reason - No installation needed. It is good for network environment. I can carry that with me wherever I go. My favorites and group icons will follow me. And the disk space is small! 2. Multiple Tabs - I can save it as a group (many 3rd party browser can do that), but this one also allows me to bookmark my favorite URL and folder. That means, I could remove dirkey, and 2xexplorer for this reason. 3. There are lots of features here although some of them I don't even bother using it. But nice to have 4. Freeware, what else is better then free!? One thing it needs to be improved though.. If the folders (from local drive) can be opened as a group and embedded in the browser, then it will be perfect! Calling it green should be too plain for this browser...

Nice but...
Very nice and fast browser but they keep adding stuff that one does not need or is hard to remove- This version has some extra buttons to the right of the searchbar that I cannot remove, keep your older versions backed up so you can use them later if you do not like the current version.

Working stand alone
I preferred Green Browser since it works as stand alone and does not need any installation unlike other tabbed browsers. Apart I think every tabbed browsers are one and the same working based on IE except minor changes in the interface. So I am using it for a year now.

I removed my IE icons
I have been using GreenBrowser exclusivly for some time now and find it to be a wonderful program. Everything is familiar and the kids haven't noticed. It's small and not loaded down with junk, the speed of page loading is just as quick as any version of IE and I love the tab browsing. Give it a try.
