Fantastic product !
GenoPro is an excellent program, but skip the standard program and go straight to the latest Beta. The latest Beta program is solid and stable, and has so many features it is impossible to list them all. Of the many genealoggy programs I have seen, none can beat this one in terms of intuitive use, capablities beyond the norm (for example GenoPro introduces a new concept called emotional relationship, where you can display how the interpersonal relationship was, not just physical kinship), responsiveness (The support is almost immediate when using the forum, and there is a will to listen to the concerns of the user), and in managing complex trees (including the ability to segment a tree into a subtree - and connect via a hyperlink). The price is also excellent. Simply the best.

Excellent for new Genealogist
Soon after I began conducting my family research "project" the need for some kind of program to assemble/maintain/make sense of all the scraps (scans of oringinal documents, photos, recordings etc) accumulated was PRESSING! If you are just starting this your search for such software will likely lead you to a LDS related sites (Ancestry.com and Rootsweb.com). For some reason they only push these share/freeware programs - Family Tree Maker (FTM) or Personal Ancestral File (PAF). After trying each and some others found at ZD.net I strongly recommend GenoPro v1.71. It has a small footprint, extensive data fields (such as DOB, death, locale, relationships, image file referances etc), automatically displays your newly entered family records as graphic "family-tree's", can import/export in the Geneololgy industry standard GEDCOM format (very important!) and can easily export results to various HTML report formats so you can post results on the web. Great support also.
