Have spent some time looking for and trying to write something that simply notifies me (via email) that my external IP address has changed. This worked straight away and provides exactly the right level of functionality. I tried quite a few alternatives and they don't generally work. I need this utility so I can know what IP address I need to log into to tell my Windows Media Centre what programme I want to record (over the internet). Thanks for this excellent free program!
