Handy screen tone utility
If you have a monitor with pushbuttons, you know how inconvenient it is to change brightness. This utility allows quick adjustment of brightness and tone; on the spot or presets. You can even make shortcuts of favourite presets. Uses I've found are: 1. For brightening the screen to see dark areas of images better. 2. To darken the screen as a pseudo-screensaver. You can see what is going on but with less stress on the monitor (handy with long batch processes). The program is tiny and only has to be running when you need it. There are plenty of programs that create profiles in Windows' Display Settings. This has similar functionality but outside of Display settings. Settings can be temporary and always highly accessible. Returning to default is just as quick.

A life saver
On some older systems you "lose" the controls to change brightness and other settings and it is a pain to reinstall those controls - so if your graphics drivers are fine use this to adjust things-easy to use and deserves an excellent rating for sure......

Gamma panel
After my eyes started bothering me from the monitor's "contrast" levels...I tried a variety of tools to handle the problem. Although I've noticed that the type of monitor AND the type of graphic card are both involved...this lil' Gamma Panel is the best program I've come across to assist my viewing pleasure and prevent the headaches ! This lil' baby is SUPER!
