Mediocre..
... and overblown. No features in here that are not available in a dozen better true freeware products that don't nag you to death.

Nag me?
First this is supposed to be freeware-nagging is bad.Second it is not all that great so why bother-am I missing something?? Freeware is great but I think if someone offers it as so then lose the nag screen as there are tons of other programs that dont do this-Geez!

Average qualities and free-to-try-ware
The qualities are not exceptional compared to what is available on the market, including freeware. But most of all, a freeware which continuously harasses the user to upgrade is *not* a freeware, in my opinion. I accept nag screens, when things are clear: "This is trialware, you will encounter nag screens", OK! But let not the appealing term of "freeware" be used when the software is *not* freeware. It's free, therefore freeware? Well, trialware is also free (to download and try!), so why not just call *all* software, freeware?!

It is just so-so
I have downloaded and used better software then this, comments with download this and forget everything else is an overstatement, lots of features need upgrade to full version before they are available :( On nags, if its free, why complain? Just a clik on starting, and a clik on closing... too lazy even for that?

Fx foto's a nagging doubtful...
You'll see a huge nag screen (almost screen-sized, in fact) as you start up and you'll see a smaller one when you shut it down. Developers seem never learn what not to do with us! It has some nice framing and editing options, so I'll not uninstall it, just yet. But, those two nags are still a touch annoying, be warned!

No way
The registered version may be a very good program but the freeware version frequently harasses you to upgrade. I get frustrated with nag screens when you are also given options that are no more than additional nag screens because your option is only available in the registered version. I upgrade programs that DON'T do this, I uninstalled this one.

I will not buy!
Features are not very well organized. Then when you have pop-ups trying to get you to buy the premium package all the time you really get frustrated.

Nag screens
Fxfoto has some nice features if you can live with the nag screens to upgrade and buy. I couldn't so uninstalled before I really tested it out. Sorry fxfoto. I've no patience for those kind of tactics. I have bought, and donated to, several free programs in my own good time.

Impressive software
This program is excellent considering it is Freeware and the options available are quite generous, more so than many Freeware programs I have tried, having tried at least ten over the past 15 months. An upgrade to the Deluxe version and the other more advanced version are remarkably reasonably priced. I like the idea of your photos being rounded up for you, filed and inserted into the program. I have Adobe PhotoShop Deluxe from 1997, which is still a very effective photo editing tool and Serif PhotoPlus v8, which I bought recently. I have PhotoImpression 4 already downloaded on the computer from purchase 16 months ago. The only gripe I have with FxFoto is that, there is rather an over-abundance of supplied practice photographs and their unnecessary folders taking up space on the memory, but at least they make sure you have plenty to practice with. Thumbs up.

Best freeware editor
I use PSP8 and have tried dozens of photo editors. Since finding this prog, it is the one I recommend to all my friends who are not as keen on power tweaking. It does a great job of loading, cataloging and more than just basic editing. Try it!! The price cannot be beaten.
