Would be all that
Well, it would be a great tweak utility but for the most part, it's a bit screwy. All I did was open it to view the options and now it's saying I need a restart?? What the...? So after browsing each option, most of which didn't impress me and those that did are already enabled. It's a very nice tweak tool but use with caution! There are other tweakers out there and I just don't feel this one was ALL THAT. Good but far from excellent. I am wondering what's going to happen if I do restart. I think a restore point is in order.

A little too insanely powerful
If you know precisely what you want FreshUI to do, and you very regularly save System Restore points, and you are careful to implement one setting at a time, and you understand which settings will irrevocably alter your computer (i.e. security lockouts, etc.), and you keep a lucky rabbit's foot nearby, this is the most well-designed, most effective, most truly dynamic and useful tweak tool available. The interface is pristine, ToolTip support is plentiful, and everything is more or less reversible. Registering is painless and emails are few. Best used in conjunction with TweakUI. Oh, and if you make one little mistake or misunderstand a setting, your computer and its user interface are doomed. So if you are brave and cautious, the sky's the limit.

Tweaked without tweaking
I hadn't changed any settings at all just to check out the features, and when I restarted, all my icons were screwed and the system was lagged severely. I uninstalled and still haven't figured out what was changed.

What is the fuss about?
Well yes it is a bit better "organized" (but you still have to KNOW what what you NEED to do - which most of us don't or can't remember so you still end up opening all those folders just like in X-teq). I also agree with Justin about the 11days and register for "free" activation - I mean, Why risk it? The "Unofficial MS TweakUI" does just about the same as FreshUI - or you can use X-teq (although it is overweight near 2mb). Also as for the "Special TOOLS" pulldown menu - most are available in the basic WIN98 folders (if you know where). I guess compact size is really all this FreshUI can offer - besides re-inventing the wheel. Cheers

Great tool
Especially for Windows 9.X users, this can extend the life of your operating system (at least for a little while longer). If you're not quite ready for the $$ "jump" to XP, and are not comfortable with the Linux options, this can give your old OS new life (with the right settings).

Good tweaker
Very similar to X-teq, but updated more often. No spam/spyware/adware, registration is free: they use your email only to notify you of updates. No problems, just benefits.

FRESH UI IS EXCELLENT
I have been using Fresh UI and their Fresh Download and Fresh Diagnose - great tools with hardly any bugs. I still do not know why they ask for email address, and I have not gottem spam from them or anything so fat. All i know is it works and i am happy with that- Sisoft Sandra should try and be as good as Fresh Diagnose.
