Good program
Good program, but the annoying thing is that it really is the first download tool which takes control of download, user cannot choose whether he wants to download via it or browser`s own download manager. But usually it doesnt bother me, cause its so cool that I can decided from FD options where to which type files are being downloaded. I really love this feature. Before this program, all downloaded files were in same folder and it really was big mess to find particular files from there! But I`d hope for a confirmation dialog before downloading, wether I want to download via it or not.

They never learn...
Still one of the most intrusive download managers trying to control everything everywhere, annoying program.Just stay away from the Fresh Devices products and use free version of Net Transport or Star Downloader. P.S. Unfortunately, the best free download manager Download Express ignores Firefox browser.

Great product for 30 days :-(
It basically is a great product, but I have not been able to obtain an activation code yet. Tried several times with several email addresses, but never got any mail back. Not even from their support. I do get the faq mail after asking for support, but that's about it. Getting THAT mail tells me there is nothing blocked so I guess they just don't care.

Good but some issues ...
Hi All, I'm sure this is a great program but I had some issues with a fresh install a few days ago. I rebuilt a mates computer (so the computer was clean) and then installed this program. After installation, every time I would open Internet Explorer, it would hang. I don't know why this was occurring. OS: Win XP SP2. I don't know if this program has issues with SP2. I had to uninstall it to get IE working again.

Fresh download
I tried it, simply because I respect the "Fresh" group. But I've yet to see ANY download manager speed up my dial-up connection's downloads. (And I've tried a whole bunch of 'em). (Maybe it's my location...or somethin')? This one is as good as the others I've tried...no worse. Maybe other people have had speed-ups with it...but it didn't do anything for me! A plus: it didn't screw-up my system ... like some others have!

Works very well
I was able to get this software installed and running in a very few minutes. The interface was intuitive. I've downloaded about 30 2+ megabyte files without a hitch. My only complaint is the intrusive progress bars, but I can easily live with that when I factor in the price and rock solid performance. NetVampire is history. Well done, Fresh Devices!!

Good, and almost great!
An all-around very good program. It would be great if it had just two more things: a list of folders for the various file type categories, and the ability to rename the downloaded file. Still, given that the program is, after all, free, and that it does what it's supposed to do and does it quite well, those are not complaints, only minor issues. I need the ability to add comments to each download (handy when you download 20-30 programs a month!). The clean, simple interface is nice too, although I prefer a bit more complexity. Overall, I'd recommend this program to anyone who realizes that thirty bucks is robbery to pay for a DLM, even if it had those other features.

Very good software
Good download manager, supports multi-connection and resume. Much better and faster than the built-in download manager of FireFox. Give it a try.

Good download manager
Used this download manager for a long time. The program appears to be under contanst review and upgrades all the time. As a download manager it has all the features you would expect and this includes a restart facility. There is no spyware and I have not had any problems using this software. There are also other products from this developer which are worth a look. You have to register the software to obtain a license key but that is a small price to pay for free use of software.

Good software
Unlike some of the other download managers, FreshDownload does not use 1 single file to store the downloaded data. E.g. with LeechGet, you can half-download an MP3, change the filename from "song.mp3.leechget" to "song.mp3", and listen to half the song. Does not work with FreshDownload. Other than this, it's a great software.

Very Good
Excellent free downloader. Easy to use and similar to other popular shareware and adware downloaders, without all pop-up and nags.
