Excellent software
This is a fantastic piece of software. I owned many burning apps, and finally found the right solution. On a scale of 1 - 10, I give Express Burn a 9.9.

Excellent free software
Used the Express burn software with Wavepad. In the old days when you bought a sound card, you got a whole load of wave editing/recording software, but these days, I haven't seen any decent ones until now. Excellent all round. Many thanks for providing us with great software.

Truth wins
I tried this only for the burning from mp3 to cd and it worked perfect for me and it was real easy. Tried it in my car, dvd player, and computer, after burning it, and the cd worked excellent. The only thing I didn't like was my operating system picked up some adware/possible spyware that came with it. But nothing is totally free. I bought ... and it said there must be something wrong with my cdor player ( which is new and up to date ). It would burn data files but not music files. Also, windows media player 10 said and did the same thing. I wanted to purchase NCH but couldn't find out where to send the payment (as with most of the programs I would like to purchase ). I don't send payments on the internet and if I don't know where their located I ignore them.( Thinking they are out of this country). Anyhow,-- Express burn really works good and has other options with it,if you want to go further into the program. ( these are asked when installing it ).

Response by software author
Thanks for the good comments. Please note, we can assure you Express Burn does not contain any Adware. (In fact nothing would be allowed on SnapFiles which did). I can only guess you downloaded something else at around the time.

Good one
I was needing a small, quick and easy to use burning program. I was glad to come across this one, it works perfectly for what I need. I also use their other program "Express Rip", another one I'd recommend.

Bare bones...frumpy
My original review never got posted so I'll try to do this from memory since I have uninstalled this software. This app does not allow the user to move directories around in the CD layout unless you empty each directory first. That's just insane. It even locked up on me once while trying to move data around in the layout. Only one drive, my DVDROM drive, was recognized when I tried to copy a CD to an image file. Renaming the CD label and data was kind of a chore. If your timing wasn't just so, you'd think that the renaming feature wasn't available. Sorry. But I do not recommend this software for serious users.
