I have recently looked at 20-30 PIMs and organizers in the search for something more 'interesting' than EssentialPIM Pro which I already own. The EPIM interface is quite tired and dull (at least for me)! Despite that I have come to the conclusion that it's features (uses little memory, does what I need from a PIM, quick to navigate, totally reliable and can run from a USB flash drive) make it an essential program! I am really disappointed not to have found anything to beat it - but happy that I actually own it. Indeed, version 2 will be released soon that promises a new interface so there is something to look forward to. Brilliant!

Excellent diary software, perhaps the best around, and over time too. I would recommend it to all in need of this type of software. Sadly, product support from the developer is not all it should be. A recent request to the developer to address a support issue not addressed in the FAQ or Help files was taken as abuse. This is not excellence in Customer Service.

I'm happy to report that with each update EssentialPIM becomes a more sophisticated program worthy of being your primary PIM. The program runs faster now even with more than 5000 contacts in the address book! While I still use Time and Chaos as my primary Personal Information management program, I "shadow" it with Essential PIM because it can run independently on a USB Flash drive. Very nice!
