Intelligent program with some probs

PRO: It's full of options; above them one that I haven't seen anywhere else: search for (adjustable) similarity between filenames (Great!) CONTRA: Why does the proggy have to connect to it's homepage everytime I start it? And: the search itself is a bit slow :(

Not useable, if you have thousands of files

This tool works fine, if you use it with small to average amount of files. However, I tried it with about 800.000 files (small 2-3 KByte files) and it worked only fine, to find the dups. It was not possible to delete them, or make any serious automated selection for deletion. Also, there were a number of exceptions during execution, so I can not recommend this tool.

Very powerful utility

I was able to free up over 30gb on my archive hard drive this this little beauty. After you get the generated list, you can delete/move files and the they'll show up in a different color. It's a great way to see whether you've deleted something from the wrong place, or whether your directories are in sync. Very nice.

The first thing I loved is - NO INSTALL NEEDED. Why can't all software be as self contained. It is very fast compared to duplicate software I have used in the past. The interface needs a little work but the defaults work very well in most cases. Overall - great software for what it does.
