It is a program which works on ANYthing which happens to be on your computer desktop (first software screen you see when you turn on your computer). Anything includes any window which may be open -- no matter what the software. Even web page windows! I do computer consulting. So I use it as I would a marker for an overhead projector slide. The nicely formated information is in the window. To illustrate a point I am making in my talk, I make notations, draw arrows, etc. on the area of the slide where I wish to draw the listener's attention. The program works perfectly for me because I do most of my demos, marketing presentations, training, etc. on computer screens. After I've made my point, I just press the F3 function key and all the marks I've added to a screen magically disappear!

"You activate the drawing mode by pressing a keyboard key combination, and moving your mouse at the same time" - this is the problem, it's very difficult to use... You can also use a simple graphic editor for that purpose (e.g. PhotoFiltre, also freeware) with much more features...
