Good product - watch the license
Good product that seems to do what it advertises, but you need to read the "freeware" license carefully. It's only free if you're splitting personal files for personal reasons. You cannot use it (even on a trial basis) for work-related splits. You have to purchase the software. Since there are others (for instance, KFK) that are truly freeware, I would not recommend this for corporate use. However, for personal use, it seems fine.

Email security issue
The program does a fine job splitting the file into smaller files, however due to email security the bat or exe file simply can not be sent by email, hence this functionality is useless. [Editor: put it in a zip archive, it usually works]

Annoyance
To restore a big file, all split components and restored file must be in the same directory. I had to split a 1.7 gb file onto 3 cd's. Dariolius cannot read each cd to rebuild the original file, all three sections have to be copied to the hard drive. It takes at least 3.4 gb to reconstruct. When splitting, all the split portions are loaded in the Dariolius subdirectory of the Program file folder. There is no choice where to place the split sections.

Very easy to use...
If you are in a need to split your files, I recommend nothing but this one. As a matter of fact, all of them are almost the same. I used a couple before, but I think I will stick with this one.... because it does what it says and it is free!
