Great software makes contact sheets/indexes
The Windows version of Petro Falks DPIC is good, it is sad this software is not know much better as it solves the problem of how to make an index sheet of your photos... My only disappointment there is no Debian Linux version of this software. I have tired of useing windows, and having to clean it weekly, so i moved to linux and except for this software I have everything I used in the Usenet as a windows user... I use Gimp instead of Photoshop, but need a stand alone index sheet software program... I guess running it under wine is the only option. JR

Contact sheets made easy
I have used Adobe Photoshop for contact sheets, but it does not allow for recursive contact sheets. DPIC does this, and quickly. I had 80 subfolders, each with about 50 images. DPIC created my contact sheets within 5 minutes. Photoshop took 10 minutes just to organise my contact sheet for 1 folder.
