Almost perfect
It is a wonderful little piece of software. Installation consists of installing 2 programs, but it shouldn't put you off at all. Once installed, it does exactly what it should do: creating PDFs from any document or webpage without logos or nag screens. Once in a while it has trouble with a website with a lot of scripts and frames and such and is messes it up a little. But a lot less than the competition I tried before.

Simply worthable without any price
Thank you snapfiles and the author too... I used this software many times. Wonderful, very useful for users of MS Office. It really helped me lot. But only problem is I cant open it in CorelDraw, for multi color printing work, it says the file is corrupt etc. Please make it happen in future.

The best pdf writer out there.
I think this is the best PDF writer out there: I tried other products like this, but I got strange results sometimes and bad looking images. With CurePDF writer, I got no problem at all. Strongly recommended.

Cutepdf writer is simple to install and use.
Only 2 easy progams to install, CuteWriter.exe and converter.exe, and default settings work perfectly. CutePDF Writer solved issues I was having with other free PDF writers: Underlining text in the source document would not take in the PDF file and strangely enough, rotating a few lines of text in the source document would cause the entire page to rotate in the PDF file. CutePDF Writer converts everything exactly as shown in the source document, except of course for hyperlinks which are available in the paid version, and is extremely easy to use. I highly recommend this excellent software which I am currently using for the creation of a website newsletter.

Works great!
..Does just what it says it will do. Very easy and intuitive. Shows up as a printer when you select the 'print' option from the 'file' menu. Simply select 'cutepdf' as the printer you want to use, and it will prompt you for the location to which you would like to 'print' (save) the file. Then, just double-click the file to open it with your pdf viewer. (Most people use Adobe Reader but I prefer Foxit Reader) The only thing that would be nice to add to this wonderful program would be a shrink-to-fit option so that Internet Exploder doesn't cut off the right side of the page. (The pdf you create will look exactly like the print preview, so you can check ahead of time to see if your page is going to get cut off) Bravo and hats off to the creator of this awesomely simple and useful software!

Sweet little freeware utility
A little confusing with the 2-step installation process, but works great after it's up and running. On occasion it makes files larger than they should be, but for 95% of what I do it works just as well as the expensive programs out there.

One of top 3 utilities of all time.
Great for webpage capturing. Great for online bill capturing. Great for any kind of graphical doc capturing. Eg. Charts for emailing to the masses. This thing works and makes nice compact little files. I've even printed big PDFs into small ones / subsets. Sometimes the layouts don't match the print preview perfectly, and I wish the filenames didn't alway default to the previous filename, but CUTEPDF I use heavily and I would sorely miss it if it was gone. if anytime you want a permanent portable record of anything from Webpage confirmation to charts or drawings, use this utility!

Easy to use and very effective
Used extensively for printing from web pages and some very substantial documents (typically Word, up to 100 pages, complex graphics and layout) for over a year at work and home. Good colour and layout reproduction; sometimes the resolution of the reproduced images is noticeable but that's probably the OS rendering to print resolution. Easy to install and use. Appreciate the comment about multiple pages - I always print to normal pages on CutePDF, then use Fineprint or built-in printer capabilities if multi-page per sheet needed. Gathering multiple pages to something like Fineprint then rendering in one PDF through CutePDF is a great way to create one-off reference docs (e.g. collecting info on one topic, comparing products, gathering awkward Web sections into more readable groups).

Fair printing abilities
CutePDF works great and easy to use but the virtual pdf printer has very few features. My biggest problem is that there is no way to "print" two or more pages on one virtual page. If there would be such a feature I could print documents with two pages/page into pdf and later make a real print from this pdf with my small'n'simple laserprinter which also don't have this important feature...

Does what it says
This does everything it says. It creates pdf documents, is easy to use, and does not have any watermarks or popups. It would be good if it were possible to edit the author name etc. or to apply document restrictions, but it is still good despite this.

Couldnt be better
I have just downloaded this and used it several times. So far it has not failed to reproduce HTML pages faithfully. What I really like is the license. Free to use for personal or commercial use. Not only that but its alot smaller than PrimoPDF.

Why not include ghost script in the file?
It is very good, but I still wonder why I have to install other file to make it work??? It should come in one package. This is only fault I found. Other than that, it works like adobe writer. Pretty neat!

Good, but i can do it from openoffice
OpenOffice has built-in PDF converter, so you don't have to install anything, like GhostScript or whatever. Just one click and you are done.

Cutepdf works
This works. It is simple and has no sting in the tail - like watermarks or pop-ups. Snapfiles itself is a great site - thank you.

Great pdf printing solution
After trying several other print to PDF packages which left watermarks or other nags, I finally found CutePDF and have discarded all the others. It is freeware and contains no nags. It does require Ghostscript to be installed as well but both installs are straight forward, I just take all of the defaults. Once installed, it is maintenance free. Just select CutePDF from the list of printers, click OK, give the output file a name and folder, and you are done.

Cutepdf writer vs pdf995
Pdf995 is shareware and it opens a weblink (pop-up)each time that you use it. It is a virtual driver - "CutePDF Writer" is freeware and it is a virtual driver. It doesn't open any weblink (pop-up)!! It needs of Ghostscript freeware "PS2PDF converter" (you can download it from CutePDF Writer' s website) The winner is..."CutePDF Writer"

Does what i want
Easy install. Always there thru print function, so no need to open another program. Use to make copy of receipts, recipes (which I can later drag&drop into recipe collection program), crochet patterns, including pictures, and any other info I would like to keep available. Only complaint is minor. It can be slow in the 'Save As' menu to change location to other than last used. So, for most things, I now have folder on desktop for this, then move at another time. Kind of like putting away the groceries.
