After spending an hour or so on the net, I inevitably collect 20 or 30 cookies that I don't want to keep. One click and they're gone, except for the ones I have preserved. Thanks!

I am using FireFox which this integrates well with. I am now in control of those "lurking" cookies. There were over 500 from unknown sources and a few I recognized, so I deleted the lot. Now I can save the ones I choose, after each session. It is simple to use and very effective. Top marks. Thank you.

Cookie Monster does what it says. It eats cookies! You can make a list of cookies you'd like to save (both in Internet Explorer and Firefox--which are labeled in the interface), and then eat all the rest with a single click. It's not the most fully featured cookie manager on the market, but it does what I need. And you can't beat the price.

The advantage is that It can eat cookies in a automation way. I had it set up as a batch file on my windows scheduler to kill cookies every 15 mins. And it does the work! It is run and gone thing. There is no need to keep loading it on system tray. However, some cookies don't get killed. I wonder! I had IE Privacy Keeper on and checked, some cookies are still in the system not killed. Well, for me, It does protect some sort of security, I like it because it can run in a command line mode, kill and run. I don't like it because it misses some cookies.. Maybe the cookie monster is too clumsy!???

I read that you setup a batch file for automatic deletion of the cookies. If at the moment that the program delete the cookies the browser is running, some of the cookies can be recreated later by the browser. Also, sometimes the cookies from IE still appear in the Temporary Internet Files folder after they have been deleted (the cookies in that folder are only shortcuts to the real files stored in the Cookies folder, which are the ones that Cookie Monster delete).

There are better ways to do this. It keeps track of what you delete, so where is your privacy?

I don t understand why you say that. The only information that the program saves is the list of the cookies that the user preserve from deletion (and the program preferences). What do you understand by "track"?

It works great with IE but all cookie managers do that. This one works great with Firefox/Mozilla and Netscape at the same time! I like that it shows all cookies from all browsers in one list with the browser icon next to it. It doesn't automatically block cookies but I wasn't looking for that. For working with cookies, this program is great.

Works great with IE6. Compared to some other "cookie management" utilities I've used, it initially shows the site that sent the cookie. I particularly like two things: (1) Save the cookies you want to keep very easily and (2) after a surfing session, dump the ones you just picked up.
