Cool!
I am surprised I never ran across this before. This is awesome! A simple clock with many clock options. Numerous skins too. This is now sitting in the right upper corner of my desktop and staying there. I like!

So good it can't be freeware
Finally! A utility that is worth buying off the shelf being given away as freeware. ClocX is the best desktop clock and calendar out there bar none. It's a snap to use and offers a slew of features that have been already mentioned in other reviews. If you haven't tried this software, you'll probably never rely on windows measly status bar clock.

I love cCockX but,...
The Pin to Desktop doesn't work (I'm using XP Pro). The clock will vanish from the desktop every time I go back to it unless I set it to 'On Top' so the clock is always visible, even in the browser. There's no Linux version as yet. There are no international time zones as yet (Buy hey, what do you want for free software?) Otherwise, what an absolutely great utility. It has a tiny footprint and is very easy to configure. Five minutes after download I had it set just as I wanted it. The visuals are stunning and the interface is a breeze. I only wish the clock would stick to the desktop and stay there. Maybe the next release will have this fixed.

Great gadget
Great little tool, a nice simple way to put a clock onscreen but yet VERY easy to configure. Also a great number of clock face variations to choose from.

Truly easy program
I took a chance and installed this on my computer. I absolutely love it. Doesn't use any memory, easy on the eyes, and fun to use.

Keep looking
Okay, so the bitmap backgrounds are pretty, the anti-aliased hands move well and don't gulp resources, the config dialog is thoughtfully well laid out and doesn't suffer from the egregious spelling errors, invented terminology and misplaced buttons that are so common in freeware these days. But the "transparency" doesn't work in all versions of Windows, and unless you have XP you're probably getting a red grid instead of a transparent background on non-rectangular bitmaps or a bloody red splotch where a drop shadow is supposed to be. There are so many freeware clocks out there that do everything else well AND get the transparency right. Try Beatnik, Rainmeter, The Clock, QuickClock or any of the others out there; they're all free, all do the basics and some of them do much more. And they all got the transparency right.

Amazing
What an amazing little program.... it does everything it's supposed to, and in beautiful style.... A note to robinbk: with version 1.5, a ZOOM feature was added , so now the clock can be as large or as small as you like ;).... If you're after a desktop clock, this has to be the one, nothing else I've ever seen even comes close.

Its okay. for a clock fan.
I tried it for a couple of seconds seems fine, looks pretty good, also i think it's easy to make themes for it! :) but not what i was looking for. so i tried to uninstall, and it didnt do a good job had to manually delete reg keys, but i still couldn't delete the clocx folder for some reason.. so i installed it again, i'll give it a second chance since i was so quick to uninstall.. you never know.

Cool addition windows left out..
This clock is such a neat product. I like it for the simple timer duties from time to time. Think of this.. My girlfriend, a casual PC user complained sourly when I forgot to put it back after a software reload.. oops. I had no idea she liked it. Like taking away the water softener after trying it for a while.. Get ClockX, use ClockX, like ClockX.. Michael

Looks beautiful, works well, but...
Did I miss the option to change the size? Or are you stuck with the default 64-pixel monster? It looks absolutely tremendous, just too obtrusive for me.

This is a keeper!
Clocx made a perfect fit with my current desktop theme. It comes with some nice options like transparency which makes the clock very settle or bold depending on your preference. Also comes with a calendar and an alarm that allows you to upload your own .wav files. You can move the clock freely around your desktop or lock it into position. On XP I removed the default windows clock and have been using Clocx instead. It's much more apealing and light enough that it isn't an issue to run. So far the program has been very stable and the time remains acurate. The author did a great job of making something as simple as a clock into a fun little program.

My favorite analog clock.
I have been using this product for years. This is simply the most attractive and versatile desktop analog clock available. It has a very light footprint, enough different skins to match any theme, and even supports multiple alarms. What more could you possibly want from a clock?

Fantastic clock!
While it might seem that a simple clock is already on your computer (if you use Windows), if you are like me, on your system alot, this little clock is simply great. Beautifully rendered, enough features to keep even geeks happy (love the click-through). Try it, you will never look back.

I love this clock!
Sits on my desktop all the time. I love the "Bahnhof" style (lots of styles to choose from). I make it semi-transparent and "click through" on WinXP. That allows me to see the couple of folders on the desktop that sit behind it and click on those folders like normal (as though the clock wasn't there). You can always access it through the systray icon (since you can't touch it with Click through turned on). Lots of different faces. Make your own skins if you like. Great.

Excellent
This is the program I've been looking for. the interface is cool. but i liked the alarm feature the most. unlike many other alarms and timers, this allows you to launch a specific batch file, so it is great if you need for example a specific word file to start at the specific time. it also allows you to fine tune with the seconds, which is not an option for most alarms.

Perfect program
I love this - it's a perfect little program to give me just what I wanted - a good looking clock on my desktop. Easy to use. Would be great if the program would allow you to have a random clock-face appear at every start-up. Great work!

Excellent
Best clock program I have ever seen. Very well thought out with great graphics and many quality skins. I would like to see the skins change automatically in the next version. In this version, there is no way to have the skins auto-change. You have to manually change them.
