It was very fast to download and open. It is a small application with no useless add-ons that doesn't get stuck. The answer it provides seems to be accurate.

This little program (665 KB) requires no installation and for the reassurance it gives you, it's a must-have. Add it to any USB thumb-drive that you carry from PC to PC. When I clicked the exe file it opened an attractive window with just two buttons: Test my speed and Close. It needed only three seconds to calculate my speed at 2559.7 MHz - a very reasonable number for a 2.6 GHz CPU. It would be nice if the next version included a help file or some reading material to discuss CPU speed and factors that affect it. Overall, this program is still an A+.
