Not a swiss army knife but if you are a professional you sure would prefer having a number of good special purpose tools in your inventory. This one is tailored for editing JPEG photos without recompression loss and does this work pretty well. Downloaded the latest BetterJPEG beta from their site which seems to have some improvements. I used it to stamp date onto photos (it takes it from EXIF) but the red-eye reduction seem to work fine either. Though it would be nice if they could add some batch operations in future versions.
