Yep, Belarc Advisor has always been a great audit eport tool. It's not one I would use all the time though and I don't feel this is as good as others. It's still great and can't say too much against it. It's just not what I like in this type of software.

This is perfect for anyone who works on computers. I have used this many times to get the exact configuration before I even open the cpu. I have recommended this to many of my co-workers.

If you are fixing to format your drive and want to make sure you remember all your software downloads this is a perfect way. If your memory is anything like mine the info needs to be on paper....

First it has to be installed-why? Make it a standalone application like Winaudit(on snapfiles) who wants to mess around with installing something you will use maybe twice a year-am I missing something here ??

I downloaded and tried Belarc Advisor on some computers I'm refurbishing. It was great to have a html document with build numbers, keys, software information/location, hardware specs, etc. all gathered for me in one place that could be saved to floppy or printed. Sure, I have other programs that will do all of the above. But this one was such a timesaver and useful, I wish I'd had it before! Great program!

I use this all the time, especially when purchasing new memory, hardware, etc. I take the printout with me to make sure I don't end up buying components that are incompatible w/ my motherboard. It displays right in your web browser. A great freeware program !

Outside of AIDA32, this is the best way to keep track of what's on the hard drive and where. Especially good for keeping track of those pesky XP hotfixes..

Like the information I receive in this program. I can sometimes forget what s going on & this gives me an overview of what s installed and even where it s installed.
