I've used several of the consumer grade backup products, from Backup Vault, Iomega Backup, Back Up PC all the way through to MS' latest Live One Care. But if you are like me and are looking for both powerful and flexible features in controlling and a managing your backups, this is the program for you. Every other program I've used has always been missing one good feature, but the folks who put this program together had built something flexible enough for most everyone's needs (or situations). You can backup to FTP sites, encrypt your backups, have email alerts sent to you, use the backup planner to easily view your schedule, it even has a great synchronization function. The one drawback, which was temporary, was the wizard screen that walks you through the setup, but are only required to go through once. The bottom line is, this program brings commercial grade backup capabilities to the average consumer for a terrific price!

If all of you have wondered what happened to the Tortoise (of the Tortoise and the Hare Race)it was here in my very own computer, about five minutes ago. But like us all, it has gotten much older and i'm afraid much, much slower. I mean i've had some slow progs in my time, but this beats them all hands down. As with all progs you hit a button and something will happen eventually. But not with this old prog. You hit the button and wait, and wait, and wait. By the time the command has worked you have forgotten why you hit the button in the first place...Then when you tire of it messing you around and try to close it, well........So you give it another chance, and try to start it up again. But what is this, a little message pops up "This program has been damaged, possibly by a bad sector of the hard drive or a virus. Please reinstall it". Ooooh what fun we are having. I give up, so it's out you go. Sorry Graham

If you are running Windows 9x/NT/2000 uncheck the skin selection and check the None option. On some non updated system the skin engine slow down the program. Unchecking the skin selected solves the problem. But if you are running Windows XP/2003 this is not the problem. It is the first time we heard about the message you got. We have never coded a such message. Maybe you have a real problem with your hard disk and the exe file is really damaged. Run a scandisk. FYI this program has been bought by thousands of copies by companies such as Shellter Mutual Insurances (USA) or AXA Bank in Europe after testing and comparing during months.
