This program takes WAY too long and uses high CPU. I'm sitting there going "Do I really want my CPU running at 95-100% for 2.5 hrs? Ah..No I don't!

It does more than other splitter or joiner. It clip, attractive because some converter doesn't have the option to determine where to start and where to stop. But it is limited to avi. Another thing is that the clipping is not as fast as virtualdub's direct stream copy, more precisely, much slower. I don't why. I spend about 20 minutes to split a 300M file. Is there something wrong? A normal converter need 30-50 minute to convert this file. Is there anything wrong?

ONLY criticism of this program is that it does MORE than described. It handled the AVI file from my digital recorder no problem. Completely intuitive GUI leading to fast result (really, about a minute from download to production). Just call me "Cecil B.".

Very good program to use for splitting video files. I tried 4 different (paid ) programs to split the same video files. All of them proved worthless. This freeware program is EXCELLENT, especially since it's free. The only bad thing is that is takes quite a while to split the files. but you cant go wrong with this.

Good and easy to use program for you to split and rejoin you're movie files.
