A classic in the genre
I've been using Any Password for about 3 years now. It's really a classic. There is nothing too spectacular about the features of this program but it's well balanced and very usable. It has the common fields you would use to store internet passwords + a memo. Encryption is the standard for it's class AES and the program is "almost" portable on a USB stick. Bottomline a small, light and usable free program.

Not just for passwords
Use this utility to remember those different passwords for sites that require a login. With this you can create stronger and more secure passwords and will stop the dangerous habit of using the same userid/password combination on multiple sites. It can also be used to record any information which you need to keep safe and secure, eg serial numbers for applications, bank accounts, PIN/phone numbers. Two points to remember: A) The password to access Any Password is the master key - that password must be a good strong one. B) Although malware probably can't read the encrytped data file, it could theoretically peek in when you open the file within Any Password and the passwords become visible, or if you copy passwords to the clipboard. So you should use anti-spyware apps to make sure your system is free of keyloggers or other spyware.

Still the best!
I've tried them all and this is by far the best password keeper made (for free). It's easy, it's very fast and it's reliable. All others are just too slow (to many key presses)and some are very complicated. If you want ease, simplicity and security, try this program. Also, you can backup/save your password data file to any name and directory. You can import and export your data. Of all the password programs, this is still the best!

Does what a password manager should
I've got 1,200+ passwords to keep track of, so organization is a big requirement for me. There are four things I wanted in a password manager: 1) security; 2) password generation; 3) easy cut/paste for web/FTP sites, and 4) search/sort capabilities. I can register at a site by copying the URL to the clipboard, pressing CTRL-P to create a new entry, type in my login name, paste the URL, click the wand button to make a new password, hit CTRL-S to save, hit CTRL-C to copy the password to the clipboard, and login. Done. I've found good password generators and good password archivers. This is the only one I've seen that does both concurrently, and does them well. For those of us with hundreds of passwords, the ability to organize in folders doesn't hurt, either. My ONLY complaint is it doesn't ask to confirm deletion of a password, and there's no UNDO (although unless you save the file, you can exit and reload).
