Put a link to the exe file of this program into C: , and boot the PC into DOS with a floppy and run SuperShredder from DOS to eliminate files that Windows wont let you. Like those "index.dat" and system recovery checkpoints that are infected but protected from deletion by Windows. From DOS this program doesnt have to ask Windows for permission to delete. Good stuff

A nice delete / overwrite program. You can set it up to delete something and make multiable passes and overwrites. Like say, 7 passes and 7 overwites. To setup the program, check - Config and Operations. If you feel the need to shred someting many times over, this program will do it. I don´t think software delete / overwrites of any kind would defeat hardware recovery. That is just what I think. Anyway, it is a free program, so the price is right! Krom
