I have been using "Advanced Host Monitor" for ages and rely on it as well. KS-Soft team managed to create wonderful product: easy to use, with friendly user interface, powerful alerting and reporting engine and useful auxiliary tools, like RMA, RCC, Web service. I think every program should work like this one, I have another which is Great! ,but not portable - I looked at many of these types of programs and the ones I found were WAY WAY OVER PRICED , sometime 5$ per check..LOL and the other simply just did not work and drained my computer system resource too nothing and always had to re-boot afterwards. for the price ($275 for 600 checks) a steal - IT's a GEM! of a deal, every Serious network dept should be using this program. The only thing that I did not like was the NAG box, when I was testing the program, I wanted to make sure this program was not a draining my computers resources like the rest, the Nag box stops everything , while you have to re-start and agree to the license agreement. If your going to give 30 days trail and allow us to be able too test the program from A-Z , then remove the NAG box.. A must buy! for the price...

I'm a network admin. I've tried a lot of monitoring software - Host Monitor is my favourite one. Host Monitor was not my first choice, i admit i didn't know about it till then. But once i started testing it, i realized that it really could do almost everything i needed, using very small cpu and ram loads, at a very good price and with a very good support team.

Excellent product. Excellent support. Excellent manual. I would recommend to users WhatsUp, CA-Unicenter, etc. to remove the products and to buy AHM.
