I love this program. It speeded the loading og .pdf files to 4 seconds on both my Win98 and WinXP. A must have:)

One big bugaboo

Only problem as someone already alluded to is that the restore function does not appear to work and unless you know a bit about the internal architecture of resetting adobe reader..things get a bit tricky

Really speeds up loading of files

Really makes loading of PDF files much faster (in Windows Me) and I myself have no problem with Adobe not opening in my browser (IE6). On the downside the "restore" (Adobe) function doesn't function properly but the Adobe can be restored with the "repair" function in the Adobe exe file. I also note that "Registry Mechanic" (version 3) must be configured manually to accept the changes that "Adobe Reader Speed-Up" makes, else it regards them as problems. On the whole a useful little program for anyone whom simply wants to "view" PDF files quickly.
