I've tried most other ad Blockers and none come close to this. It's not updated a great deal and when a new version comes along I'm updated. I spent more for it than the others but it has been money well spent. I've been using it for years and it just works.

Ad Muncher :: The Very Best In A Class All It's Own Ad Muncher is the very best pop-up blocker and web filter software I have ever seen. The best thing about is that it act's like a proxy, but is not a proxy. That is, it acts as a gateway between your computer and the Internet. But unlike a proxy almost zero configuration is needed and it works with all most software, out of the box. Including all web browsers, games, etc. Ad Muncher is the only software I trust to get the job done. With Ad Muncher Internet Explorer is just as safe as Fire Fox. ;) Ad Muncher technical support is the best I have ever seen for software. Not only do they respond in a timely and professional manner via E-Mail, but also via their forum. Be sure and check it out!. Ad Muncher makes the Internet a friendly place as it was meant to be years ago. I would never dream of surfing the Internet again without Ad Muncher.

Ad Muncher is in my opinion the best anti-popup, the best adverts removal tool I have ever used. Ad Muncher blocks adverts in all browsers, blocks unwanted popups in all browsers, blocks adverts in programs like ICQ, Morpheus, Kazaa, Grokster, Opera, PalTalk, iMesh, Bearshare, LimeWire, etc. , speeds up page loading, thanks to the missing adverts and popups, blocks many annoying site behaviors, filters quickly and reliably, includes extensive options for those who like to tinker, allowing to remove anything that annoys you. Absolutely fantastic. It blocks neither too little neither too much, but all and only what is to be blocked, though one still has the choice to moderate its' skill. This software is a must.

Tried other filters. The ones that are effective slow down page loading and the ones that don't slow you down are not effective. This is the only effective one that doesn't slow you down.

There are so many popup blockers, ad removers and other hacks that try to keep browsing ad-free. Three years ago, I've got Admuncher, an unknown small project those days. Since then, Admuncher is not only my favorite tool, but also a way of life. I cannot even think my internet browsing without it. Many times, tried some other competitive products, just because of curiosity. Nothing comes close to AM in terms of reliability, stability speed and filtering features. Bravo Murray, excellent job !!!

This is the best ad blocker I've used and I've been online since 1992. I still use a couple of other programs but this is by far the best and has the most features. I would have gladly given it five stars except that you pay for one seat. You have to buy a seat for each PC. If you have a crash, you may have to go through loops to get another number. I don't like this. But the program is really cool and does a tremendous job. It even blocks Google pay per click ads! There's not much it doesn't stop. I highly recommend it.

I am trying shareware version of AdMuncher. It is unique web filtering software, successfully filter any "unwanted" content from webpages, but i think it is a little expensive because it has very powerful freeware and/or open-source rivals.

All you need to do is download it, clear your browser cache and install and run it. That's it! If you don't want to, you don't have to touch any of the advanced options and it will filter 95% of ALL ads from all http websites.

Being a long time user of Ad Muncher I have to say this is a must have for anyone that is tried of Internet pop ups, advertisements and other junk. It is highly configurable and will filter anything that you throw at it. Customer support is excellent, with it's built around the clock IRC support and quick response times from the author. With it's advanced features it makes Ad Muncher very hard to beat.
