I've been looking at undelete software that would solve a specific undelete problem that I have experienced. Of the options Active@UNDELETE looks one of the best in functionality. However, their demo suffers from a major undocumented flaw... It will only allow files smaller than 64k to be recovered - this fact is not spelled out until you actually try to use the demo. If this bothers you - don't waste your time with this product. Personally, I find this particular bothersome since the literature for this company claims to encourage its dealers to hand out the demo, and will not provide refunds in the event that the full version doesn't perform: SELLERS: A full demo isn't a full demo if it can only be used for phony test cases and not on real problems. Limit the software, by all means, but allow your customers to verify it works for them.
