Good program, but ...
I've owned this product since 2004 (I've upgraded it to the System TuneUp version since then). It does a very good job, but you have to really watch it sometimes. It's been known to delete stuff from my registry and my PC that it considers temp or folders that aren't needed, but actually are necessary to some of my graphics software. I've had to re-install some programs after I used it to fix errors. On the plus side, it does catch more than my Tune-Up Utilities. But, I feel more comfortable using Tune-Up, just because I don't want to weed through all the scan results Ace comes up with (just in case). I mainly keep it as a backup for stuff that I know I really want to get rid of completely. Hope that helps!

Safe + stable + efficient = superb
I have used Ace Utilities for several years to maintain my registry and keep my computer free of trash. It has kept my computer clean and fast. It has never caused a malfunction. It backs up every registry change it makes, but I have never needed to do a restore. There have been several updates to this program since I bought it several years ago. There has been no additional charge since I bought it. What a bargain!

Fantastic!
I've been using this program for about 2-3 years now and have yet to encounter a problem with it. The great thing about this simple to use powerful and accurate piece of software is that it is designed to fix issues that are constantly reappearing. With all the other "Tweak n' clean" software you download them once, change all your "tweaks" then never use that part of the huge program again. Ace does the day-to-day tasks brilliantly an with ease, it does miss a few registry problems like invalid keys and keys pointing to a non-existent file but there's always specialist cleaners for that "registry medic was good for that but i haven't seen much of it recently. The small amount of things Ace Utilities misses isn't that important they don't do any harm being there. This program lives up to it's name "Ace" keep at it AceLogix.

Exprogrammer
Before downloading several programs to test I used Acronis True Image to make a Image of my C: drive (I recommend highly before testing out any program that fools with the Registry). I then ran my ... and found 16 errors in the registry, then ran ... and found 3 errors, then ran Ace Utilities and found 412 errors. I thought about this long and hard and then deleted all the errors. All my programs worked great afterwards with no problems, my computer was faster on load and operating than ever before. I takes 20 minutes to scan the registry with ..., ACE Utilities did the scan in less than a minute. I registered ACE Utilities right away and have no problems with it, and it's other features are better than programs I have used in the past. I highly recommend this for any one. It's user friendly and fastest of them all.

Don't use regcleaner
I agree that it's nice Prog stuffed with useful utilities which work well. But be careful with its Regcleaner. I checked it after cleaning with my 4 best Progs (Regsupreme,Registry Rescue,Registry Mechanic,Awin SysCleaner) and got a list with 135!!! wrong entries, some of them I investigated and was absolutely sure that was nothing wrong with them.Of course I didn't delete anything. I can recommend this Prog, but for your registry use Progs dedicated for this task.

Ace utilities the doctor for your pc
Main Interface: The main interface is user friendly was well laid out. Ace Optimizer has been well thought out and very easy to use for the novice user, and advanced... When you click on a give function Ace explains in short what this function will do. You than simply scan your pc (which I have found the scan is extremly fast) Ace will list the files that are useless and allow you to delete all of them or you have the option to uncheck any give key if you desire. What is important to note...you can restore the files you delete when cleaning the registry at a click of the mouse which will undo any removal of files that may cause a problem. Now in over a week I have had no problems restoring files and Ace Optimizer has kept my pc fined tuned. Ace explains step by step what has to be done so you are aware in advance what is taking place

Ace utilities
Its a very good program cause it help me to clean my system registry, remove my junk files, fix invalid shortcut, find duplicated files and more. Ace Utilities does all those things for me and its also very convenient. The Auto-start Manager let you control everything when youre system boot and beside that, the Uninstall Manager also done a very good job. Since I start using Ace Utilities, I didnt face any problem or difficulty with it and its really a very good program. Its worth buying the program and its also at a very good price.

It's really an ace !!!
The internet is full of cleaners, registry tools, privacy erasers etc. Unfortunately most of them are just useless, if not dangerous. It looks that every newbee developer, starts his career writing such a utility. Ace Utilities is different in many aspects. Fast, stable as rock and with a small footprint, offers utilities for real computer management, not garbage like tweaks and the rest useless stuff. A really good privacy / disk cleaner - shredder, one of the best registry cleaners, internet cache and cookies management, as well as a startup and uninstall editor. Besides them all, Hari, Ace author, is very helpful solving problems or adopting user suggestions. Behind the nice user interface, Ace has also a powerful "script-like" plugin engine, a must for any advanced user. I have no problem rating Ace with 5 stars and suggesting it to any one. Excellent job Hari :)

Why try ace utilities?
I registered Ace Utilities a year and a half ago. Some of the reasons why I like Ace Utilities are:The registry cleaner has a backup.I have never needed it though. You can send junk files to the recycle bin instead of deleting them immediately.Ace is easy to use and has some great utilities. The Uninstall Manager works very well. The Autostart Manager is effective in controlling what programs can start at bootup. There are currently 112 plugins that can be used by clicking the "cleanup" tab erase your history".Support is very good! The most important issues for me are versatility and dependability. Ace Utilities has been a valued and trusted program on my pc since day 1.

Product: great. customer service: great.
I wanted something that would clean out my junk files, registry, and history AND let me wipe my recycle bin and disk free space. Ace Utilities does all these things and more. It does them quickly, without any hiccups. The user interface is uncluttered, with a good balance between simplicity and options. During the free trial period, I discovered that Ace Logix makes good on their promise to respond to all inquiries quickly. Because I had used unusual installation options and location for my Opera 7.5 browser, Ace Utils could not find it for cleaning. My e-mail to Ace got a response the next day, and a new Opera plugin the day after that that. The plugin worked fine. Additional pluses: Clear documentation. Command-line interface with good options. Installs and uninstalls cleanly. Wipe function seems fast (considering what it has to do). Good price. Definitely worth trying. For me, it was worth buying. -- Bullmoose.

I plan to buy this program after comparing it and several others. You can send deletions to whatever folder you want, not just recycle bin until sure no mistake made. And it is thorough, but still a bit conservative with respect to registry deletions, and seems more accurate with respect to identifying junk and duplicate files than did the others I tried.
