The claim that this software is useless is entirely false. It says right in the description: NON-PROPRIETARY. PDFs and DOCs won't work. That aside, this application does what it says. I didn't try any binary merge like the MP3 and MPEG example. I was looking for a simple tool that could merge text. It did just that with no problem. The interface is simple and very clear, and its few functions are laid out in menus and buttons in a logical order. Small and not bulky at all, clocking in only 100 kilobytes for the executable. A very simple, well written program. Only complaint: Terrible name. ;)

I needed a program to merge PDF files and decided to try A.F.7. It couldn't do it. Out of pure interest I tried to merge MS Word files and got the same result: nothing. It seems this app is useless. Now I merge PDF files with a help of Ap PDF Split Merge. It costs some money but works perfectly.
