32-bit console-mode file manager ZTreeWin is a 32-bit console-mode file manager that is designed to look and function similar to the discontinued XTreeGold program. Unlike the old XTreeGold, ZTreeWin id designed for modern operating systems and does not run under DOS. It offers a wide range of file management features including support for long file and directory names, file type coloring, customizable console dimensions and more. The program is designed for advanced uses that prefer keyboard-command text-mode over graphical file managers such as Windows Explorer.

I've used Ztree since it was Xtree 15 years ago. I manage a network and find it irreplaceable for cleaning drives of unneeded files. Very powerful. Don't be put off by the DOS look the developer is still improving the program. Last update was this year 2010 (Completely rewritten as a fully unicode-enabled). showShow review details
