FTP server zFTPServer Suite is a user friendly and easy to use FTP server, that allows you to run your own file sharing or download service from your home PC. It offers all the standard FTP features, as well as support for SSL/TLS, transfer limits, real-time monitoring, virtual directories, user groups and more. You can also kick a selected user, monitor selected user activity, and set per-user restrictions for logins, transfer limits and speed limits. Additional features include statistics, support for passive connections and customizable logging. There are 5 editions: Free, Personal, Professional, Corporate, and Enterprise. Straightforward, easy to set up, and it seems to be stopping a lot of bogus attempts to log in. I've been running it on an FTP solo server, with family and friends logging in. The program keeps a running log on IP's, attempts and users quite well. I have found nothing to cripple the program, even though its free! showShow review details

I've tried a couple of FTP servers before, and none had worked to my satisfaction, but zFTP is so easy to set up and use - so simple to set up users and define which folders to give them access to. If you need a simple and stable ftp server, look no further! Excellent. showShow review details

Boy, I really overlooked this when I was looking for FTP server software. The ability to create virtual directories is 100 times easier in zFTPServer than Serv-U. And yes, it's faster too...not by much (about 10%), but I'll take 10% of anything that`s free. That`s the best part; quality software at an unbelievable price. Don't make the mistake I made and overlook this really great app! showShow review details
