share large files with your friends zeZebra is a P2P application that enables you to share large files with your friends, even if they are too large for email of other file sharing services. Unlike similar apps, the zeZebra service does not store your file in the cloud but arranges the file transfer directly between your computer to the recipients computer (peer to peer). To share a file, simply select it to add it to your queue - the program will automatically generate a URL that you can send via email, post on Facebook or otherwise share with your friends. The recipient will need to install zeZebra in order to download the file. Since your files are served from your PC rather than zeZebra's servers, there is no limit on file size but download speeds are subject to the upload speed limits of your Internet connection, which are usually much slower than your download speeds. Other features include bandwidth control, optional Outlook integration and a built-in Contacts manager. zeZebra works well for those who frequently share larger files with a group of users and are looking for an alternative to email. I have been looking for something like this for so long! There used to be a program called BeamFile but they shut down. When I found this I immediately installed. No cat5 crossovers, no network options, this does the trick for easy file transfer between two people WITH FILE RESUME! No more messengers, no more ftp, nada. This thing is KING! The interface is so easy to use you'll be sending files to your friends, family, everyone so much more reliably. This program rocks all the way around. showShow review details

I do believe this is still in it's testing stages but for the most part, it's very different. A very likeable application. It's all too easy to select a file, send it through email. It's a bit slow IMHO. Better than trying to send other ways I admit, very handy. Will be keeping this on my pc and keeping an eye out for all future releases but yes, again, slow, needs some work and as stated, zeZebra needs to be installed on other pc. Create a self extracting zeZebra tiny app to go with the sent file please? No need for recipient to have to install zeZebra at that moment. Thanks!! showShow review details
