Trace and log all network traffic York is an easy to use network traffic sniffer (a.k.a packet analyzer) that enables you to perform an in-depth analysis of all network traffic that passes through your network adapter. The traffic can be automatically categorized into web sessions, files, passwords and images, making it easier to shift through the pile of packets being logged. The program can optionally log and save all web sessions, including HTTP/FTP files as well as user passwords. Saved images can be viewed as a slideshow (neat). There are a variety of technical settings available that let you configure which packets are logged or saved as well as additional options for advanced users. Other features include web session logging, support for Pcap files and TCdump filters, time limited capturing, sound alert rules and more. York supports TCP, UDP, ICMP and NetBios packets. The program uses the WinPcap capture engine. Copyright Snapfiles.com

It began logging traffic but didn't keep up anything specific. I made sure there were images being transferred over the network and internet, this didn't find or seem to log any real packets going through, just basic connections. I tried adjusting the settings and keeping a log, it wouldn't keep a log of anything. The log file just disappears it seems. Whether it's just a setting I missed or something with the program, I think I'll stick with others that I know for a fact capture packets thoroughly. showShow review details
