XRECODE is a parallel audio converter with full Unicode support that enables you to convert between many popular audio formats, including MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC AAC, WAV, ALAC and WavePack. You can convert files to one or more of the supported formats in a single operation and take advantage of your multi-core CPU with parallel processing. The program can also be used to extract audio from video files, and to split files by silence periods. Other features include support for 24-bit encoding and optional command line parameters. XRECODE provides an easy to use and straightforward interface. Please note: A newer version is available from the author`s site (XRECODE II) which is not free.
