wireless network monitoring WirelessMon allows you to monitor the status of your 802.11 Wi-Fi connection, including signal strength and nearby access points along with their security settings, supported rates, MAC address and other details. You can easily switch to another access point from within the software and also save your connection settings. In addition to real-time Wi-Fi monitoring, WirelssMon also provides you with detailed information about the selected network, including IP and adapter settings, transmission rates, errors and more. As part of the Pro version, WirelessMon enables you to create signal strength maps of the area you are in, either by loading a static map image or by connection a GPS receiver.
