WebMerge generates static HTML pages from your exported database. It works with any database that can export to .txt format or spreadsheet, including Microsoft Access, FileMaker Pro, Panorama, AppleWorks, and Excel. You can use your favorite HTML editor to design custom templates for your index and details pages and then let the program generate the content based on them. WebMerge uses a simple tag replacement procedure where it replace a custom tag with a field content from your database. The program also lets you save its settings to a file that can start generating pages by just opening it, completely automating your workflow. Since the resulting pages are simple HTML format (based on your template), you can upload them to any server without the need for database access.
