Video Padlock
encrypt your video files
Video Padlock is an easy to use encryption software designed to prevent unauthorized access to your personal video files. It encrypts the content and scrambles the file name as an additional privacy measure, thereby rendering the video files unusable unless they are opened and decrypted with Video Padlock. The program uses a partial encryption mode which will only encrypts a portion of the file (but makes the video unplayable while encrypted) or you can use full encryption to protect the entire file - the difference is in the time it takes to encrypt/decrypt the file. The encrypted files will remain in their original folders but can only be accessed with the master password from the Video Padlock interface. Video Padlock uses 128 bit ARC4 to encrypt your files.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Realtively weak encryption; no integrated player; video files are not hidden, only scambled
