Visual Typewriter is designed for those that miss their old-style typewriter machine. It allows you to type digital documents from an environment that looks and feels like using your old typewriter again, complete with sound effects and various paper styles to choose from to create an authentic looking illusion. While the program does not have the functionalities of a modern word processor, it does offers some modern conveniences, including automatic spell check and integrated text-t-speech, that can read your text aloud. The typed document(s) can be exported as styled or plain PDF file, HTML (with optional stationery background) or as plain text, to be used with other word processors. Visual Typewriter is intended for those that wish to experience the romantic writing experience of days long gone, without having to sacrifice the compatibility with digital publishing methods.
