task management utility VistaSwitcher replaces the default Windows Alt-Tab dialog with an enhanced version that offers a more stylish interface and some additional features. It display a list of the currently running tasks and provides a mouse-over preview that shows the task window on your desktop, as well as right-click options to switch, minimize, maximize, restore the main window or close the process. VistaSwitcher also includes a handy feature that allows you to exclude certain task from the list, as well as support for dual-monitor systems and a quick way to call the dialog via right-click and mouse wheel.

I like this app because it installed fast and easy, no-brainer preferences, and is light on the resources needed to run it. But mostly, I like it because it worked exactly as described. Not all freeware can say that. showShow review details

I've tried several switchers that either did not work correctly (showed blank screen for some tabs - Microsoft switcher Powertoy) or were slow, or both. This one does everything it says and provides excellent transparency effect even on a low-end graphics card in XP. showShow review details
