V-Grep is a text search and replace tool with support for Regular Expressions, that enables you to find text occurrences based on simple a simple string match or complex patterns and replace them with a new word, sentence or value. The program is designed to provide a Windows version of the Unix GREP command, and includes a guide to Regular Expressions, as well as a testing tool to practice and verify complex search patterns. The results are presented with highlighted result matches and excerpts, and can be exported to text or HTML. You can further drill into the result set by opening individual results and perform search and replace inside a single file, or batch replace within the entire result set.
