fax messaging with email support VentaFax is a powerful fax/voice messaging software for Windows that sends and receives faxes, and converts your PC with a fax-modem into a versatile answering machine with remote control and email integration. You can retrieve your fax and voice messages from any touchtone phone and also have your email messages and faxes forwarded to you as email attachments. VentaFax also supports CallerID (if available) and allows you to record a telephone conversation with just a click of the button. The user interface is friendly and intuitive, resembling a regular fax machine with buttons and controls. Additional features include support for color faxes, PDF conversion, voice mailboxes, automatic voice/data/fax mode recognition, distinctive Ring and more. VentaFax is accessible from any Windows application, via a virtual printer driver.

Very well thought out, and comprehensive. The grabbing of distinctive ring in spite of TAPI's lack of support for it is truly ingenuous! The ability to define scripts makes it very flexible. Easily the best phone system software I've seen in a long time. showShow review details

The evaluation program seemed to work, although the greeting "voice" wasn't high quality. I agree totally with the other review; BEWARE! This company has NO technical support and NO goodwill. When the registered version trashed out, the reply was, "It is not usable with you (sic) particular modems and your particular settings. If you have read Troubleshooting, you should know what to you do." When I asked for a refund, they refused. STAY AWAY and use something like .. or ... showShow review details
