personal organizer TreePad is an intuitive and powerful personal database program, PIM and personal data search engine. It allows you to store all your notes, emails, texts, hyperlinks, etc. into a single file. With the look and feel of the familiar Windows explorer, editing, storing, browsing, searching and retrieving your data can not be easier! TreePad can be run directly from a USB stick, including data. To find any article you previously created or imported, you can browse the tree, in the same way as you browse directories/folders in the Windows explorer. Alternatively, you can use the very fast internal search engine to instantly find any item you need! Copyright

Does what it says 4 stars by gimpguy Sep 26, 2011 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
The nice thing about this is that you can keep many records and documents in a tree or have child nodes per document, say a document named Car Parts, under this you can have specific lists. It's a very basic description but you get the point. This would be very useful in many situations where you don't want to add to another document but want attached data. I found this to be quite useful and feel it's a keeper. show Review details

I've used TreePad Lite for several years, with good results. Very simple in operation and very good in organizing just about any data type entry. With me, it's indispensable. show Review details
Convenient and useful utility 4 stars by Shaggy Jan 17, 2007 (Read all my 15 reviews)
I have been using TreePad Lite for a couple of years now and I find it to be very, very handy. It's small, fast, and can used in a portable scenario (like run directly from USB drive). It's not overly powerful, it lacks virtually any advanced features, such as encryption, rich text, etc. It supports hyperlinks in its own limited way. Overall, it's still a great little app that I will likely continue to use. However, I am disturbed by another review that cited poor customer service from the TreePad developers. For this reason I would avoid giving them my money. I'll stick with TreePad Lite. It's a good and free way to organize nearly any kind of information in a hierarchical fashion. And last time I checked they also offered a free utility that will compile your TreePad files into EXEs. show Review details
