multi-tabbed dual pane file manager XYplorer is a multi-tabbed and dual pane file manager that provides detailed file information, customizable reports, advanced file search, file management and more - all from an Explorer-style interface. It provides instant preview for image files, fonts and media files including MP3 and videos, as well as direct editing of MP3 tags. The various right-click options allow you to copy all or part of the file information to the clipboard, rename files using various schemes, copy/move/backup selected files and more. Additional features include a drag-and-drop favorites panel (files and folders), built-in hex viewer, icon extraction, file age display and many other useful options.

Most useful tool ever ! It can do anything you always missed in standard MS explorer, and even much more via scripting.. The dev is constantly adding new features (new builds on a weekly basis, even days sometime) and once you started using it, you won't ever go back. I wonder how I could do without this before.. ! It's fast, efficient, highly configurable, etc. It will replace many (many!) tools, not only explorer, so it's really worth the money ! Once you get to know it (pretty fast actually, especially since the forum is very active and helpful) it will save you a lot of time. Get it ! showShow review details

I have used all the others, and now I swear by XYplorer. I used Directory Opus for a couple years, but as full-featured as it is, it's loaded with limitations and nonsensical design features. XYplorer lets me preview files, change attributes, and navigate the entire file system in the easiest manner. showShow review details
