Vypress Tonecast is high-fidelity audio translation software for local area networks. It allows you easily setup and begins your own "radio" broadcasting over an existing LAN infrastructure without investing into expensive additional hardware or complex heaped software systems. Vypress Tonecast contains consists of a client software with very little computer resources footprint and an easy to use server part that performs real-time audio compression and broadcasts it over a network. It was designed to be deployed easily, even by non-professional users and produces high quality sound with low-level network bandwidth requirements. Vypress Tonecast uses real-time, Assembler powered MPEG-2 coders/decoders, so you will see no dramatic traffic increase even on a 10 Mbit Ethernet network with CD-quality sound translation. To use the software, just install the clients on all the workstations that should receive the broadcast, and then install the server on the workstation that capture audio and transmit it to a network.
